School Of Management Sciences- My Experience

I am a Bachelor Of Business Administration 2nd year student at School Of Management Sciences and my 2 years of experience in this college has been really good. The eligibility criteria for any course in this college is at least 50% marks in class 12th. After that applicants must qualify for the entrance exam to get in. The Application form to apply in college is available online or offline whichever is preferred by the applicant. When I applied, the application fee was 2000/-. The admission process and application dates start in January and are open till September.

I was very much interested in business studies and wanted to do a professional course so I chose BBA. Also, I want to pursue MBA for my post-graduation. The student count in each course is around 200-240. The faculty is very good. All the teachers in the college are highly qualified and certainly have a lot of knowledge in their respective fields. Their teaching methods are excellent and easy to understand. Exams are very timely here in normal situations i.e July-august for even semesters and December-January for odd semesters.

Internship opportunities aren't directly offered by the college but students are encouraged and helped in finding internships through various third parties such as Internshala, LinkedIn, etc. College also actively supports students involved in any internship and helps them in every way possible.

Placements in this college are decent. Worthy students get a lot of placement opportunities even in under graduation. Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year i.e. 5th semester. There are many reputed companies that offer placement opportunities in college, some of the top ones being Mother Dairy, Vi, Big Bazaar, etc. The highest package was in MBA 11.24 LPA by Mother Dairy and the average packages are around 5-6 LPA for PG and 2-3 LPA for UG students.

The fee structure is very simple here in the School Of Management Sciences. For my own course (BBA) the fees for us were 32500 per semester which is good for a private management institute. The fees also haven't been raised for the newer students and are the same. The college doesn't provide any scholarships or financial assistance, although there are various government scholarships students can apply for.

Life at the campus is very breathable and super friendly. Everyone respects one another. There is the strict no-bullying policy on campus and when found, very strict actions are taken. The annual fest in the college is called Aadharshila and is celebrated on the day college was founded. It's a day of great celebration in the college. The library in the college is decent, with subject books and also various storybooks, business magazines and other helpful things for students. The classrooms are also digitalized for better learning. Sports are encouraged throughout the year and there is a sports day organized every year by the college.
