Remarks

Yes, there was an entrance exam for admission. The admissions were based on the performances. The eligibility of the course is 10+2 with 45% + SAEEE. And the fee for the first year is 2.45 lakhs. We can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are good. They help us with our doubts and other queries. I get better placement and better knowledge by opting for this course. They are all PhDs and their teaching method is really good. We have two term exams and one semester exam. If you study properly then you can pass easily.

We get many internship opportunities from our college itself. The internship opportunities include both governments as well as private internships. We have the main project at the end of the 7th semester which is very useful for the placements.

Placements are available from the 5th semester. The percentage of students placed is 91%. The highest package offered is 41 lakhs and the average package is 4.75 LPA. The top recruiters are Amazon, Microsoft etc. The roles offered in our college are software developers, technical heads, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees are 200000. Total fees for the first year is 2 lakhs and 45 thousand. Total course fees are approx. 9 lakhs 80 thousand. By writing the entrance exam, we get scholarships. The college provides financial assistance who cannot afford the college fees.

Campus Life

In college, we have cultural fests and convocation events, which are conducted in the month of February or March. We have a big central library, in which mostly all the books are available. We have various clubs which entertain the students in different ways.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms provided are really awesome. They have given different beds, almirahs, study tables, etc. Our college is famous for its meals. Their quality is very good. They are hygienic and safe. The registration process for a hostel is easy, you can log in to the website and pay the fees and get your room. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

I have applied for GITAM, BITS but I have chosen Sathyabama over all these colleges, as the college is having good infrastructure and really delicious mess food along with good placements and faculty. I did not apply for any quota as it is deemed university. I have written its university exam. I got admission through that exam. In counselling, I asked them the Electronics and communication engineering. They have given them the course I asked for. There are no minimum marks or age criteria. First of all, the infrastructure and the reviews among the people played a greater role in selecting this college. The college has a very good infrastructure and the campus is always lit.
