College Review

The admission process is fairly very easy. You will get admission even if you don't perform well in GDPI. So first there is GD followed by PI and you are done with the process. You must need to have at least one valid score of CAT/MAT.

To be honest the course curriculum is okay just like any either college. Very less emphasis on practical learning out of 100, 80 marks are directly your written theory paper. The student-faculty ratio is fine. But please be ready to face the toxic political environment. There are quite a few great faculty at JIMS like Dr.Neelam, Dr. Sanjeela, Dr. Shruti, and Dr. Navneet. You will gain maximum real-life and practical knowledge.

Internships are provided by the college but the stipend is between 5000-10000. But companies like CBRE, icici do offer internship opportunities this would add value to you and your resume but apart from these there are many startups that do come for hiring internships.

The placement is just okay, most of our senior batch is placed somewhere around 5 lakh. The highest till date is 8.5 lakh. Companies like CBRE, DELLOITE, Asian paints, and some banks also, do come for placements.

The only great point about JIMS is that they do offer great scholarships. The total fee of the structure of PGDM is somewhere around 800000. The average package is somewhere around 4.5 lakh. Internship stipends are comparatively low.

Lots of Clubs which means a lot of competition, All the social media handles of all the clubs are handled by students. There is a book bank that is given to all the students the fee for same is included in your fees which means no additional cost.

Talking about GD was very easy, time was given to each participant was given time to speak, interview questions were basic like why MBA? , Tell me about yourself? , which specialization do you want to opt for and why?
