Remarks

good Ranking of college, good Infrastructure, teaching faculty and facilities.University is well reputed and better job opportunities in the city.Good campus of college. Architecture have lot of future opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

course syllabus was very outdated, industrial exposure was not enough, only classroom submissions were focused more. faculty was worst. faculty was not at all supporting and encouraging. Did not support extra curricular activities at all.

Internships Opportunities

I opted for internship in my final year.I did my internship at Vispa architects,pune. begged a lot for that intership which i had to do free of cost, no stiped is provided to architects for internship. only few big firms do that.

Placement Experience

Architecture have no campus placement opportunities.No architectural firms visit campus to hire students. freshers have to go to firms themselves and beg for jobs then they hire you for 10,000/month or may be less than that sometimes

College Events

Campus Life was awesome, College festivals were interesting and conducted usually. faculty did not support that at all.College fests use to be city wide,other colleges use to participate. sinhgad use to host biggest college fest in pune.

Campus Life

campus infrastructure is good, college gym is not available,sports equipment are not provided by college, library was good and well equipped. Wi-Fi was available only in hostels. hostels furniture was worst.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. I'm planning for higher degree (mtech)

currently nowdays placements are not so staisfactory due to United states tarriff and recession before that students placed upto 52lpa placemant offcampus and avg 11lpa for cs/it and in mechanical field top package is 12 lpa and average 5 lpa

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

College has placement but mostly they are statups but there is no such big company who take part in placment drive. The student should be in 2nd year of diploma and 4th year in phamarcy. The highest package is 400000 and avg is of 100000.

My college is well known for its co-curriculum. It conducts different different competitions for students for example:- 1) Debate competition 2) Postermaking competition 3) Slogan making competition 4) Paper presentation competition 5) Research based activity And many more Our college also conduct Ganesh festival And celebrate the festival. The whole 10 days one day we have Garba other day we have dandiya we have singing competition, dancing competitions. We have a DJ night we have sports conducted on Ganesh festival. Sports includes football, basketball volleyball, relay athletics, cricket. Our college also celebrate their own fest Which includes fashion show dances of each Batches, singing, competition, drama, DJ night and sports indoor and outdoor Booth

NATA+ BOARDS and JEE 2 was the eligibility for the entering the college. The cut off for merit score was around 100 and i had 131. I did not avail any reservation benefits.
