My engineering journey

I took the B.E electronics and communications stream , the curriculum is great and up to date for the modern world. The regular classes are very informative and rarely hectic. The classes are very interactive.

We have a very strong training and placement cell at the college. We are given training in various areas like the technical part and personality development which is the crucial part of any placement process. We have internships which is monitored by the faculty at the institute.

The initial first year tuition fee per year is Rs. 70,700 and for the consecutive three years is is around Rs. 69,200 which makes a sum of Rs. 2,78,300 for the four years of B.E degree. Students can avail student loans or scholarships.

Scholarships, as any other pioneer institute, is offered to the student who do well in their studies. Students who bag the first three places are given scholarships. Students are also given scholarships if they have got got ranking in the PET examinations. Education loan is an option to those who find difficulty in paying the tuition fee.

Our college has very well-equipped labs for the benefit of the students. It organizes sport events in a regular basis. We celebrate almost all festivals, organize dance contests where both faculty and students take part.

Yes, I live in a hostel which is inside the campus. We have rooms on sharing basis, they are very spacious and create a very good ambience for studies and extracurricular activities. The food here is also commendable.

I got into this college through counselling with my board marks. There are totally three phases of engineering counselling, I got into through the second one. There are other courses apart from engineering in this college such as management and physical education.

The faculty here are highly skilled they try to keep the classes interactive as much as they could and cope with with the modern syllabus. I have found the staff of my department to be very supportive and more of a friend than a teacher.
