MVGR college of engineering

I went to this college through AP-EAMCET counselling. In this exam, I got a rank of around 24k. It has 3 rounds of counselling. In the 1st round, I got Aditya college, peddapuram, mechanical branch. But it was far from visakhapatnam and I was not comfortable staying at hostels. In the next round, I got ANITS college, mechanical engineering. I didn't opt for that because it seemed very strict. I got admission into my present college, MVGR electrical branch. I was interested in core branches rather than software like CSE, IT, ECE. I didn't avail any quota for this but the cutoff of the exam is usually around 30-40 marks. Where I scored 58 out of 160. This exam doesn't have any negative marking.

I was interested in core branches from the very beginning. Thus I opted for electrical and electronics engineering. The student: faculty ratio is 6:1. Assistant professors are usually post graduated. Professors have different PhDs from NITs IITs. Exams are easy to clear until and unless you are so poor to even not pay attention to the classes. Mid examinations are packed full. Semester exams have some relief.

As per my department's awareness we've got enrolled in substations, Hindustan petroleum corporation limited and different core related sectors. Most of them provide us only certification. We can opt for stipend provided internships, personally.

The campus training starts from the 6th semester itself. People are made to participate in internships and complete courses for improving their resumes. The recent highest package we got was 30 PA.

Annual days are planned according to the relief of all the years free time. Aadhrita is the fest which is actually conducted once for 4 years i.e one batch gets to see once during their course. There's a recent build library which is full of the latest technology and books.
