NIMS Jaipur won the best private university of the year award in 2018. In 2017, it is awarded as the best private university in India by AICTE. So, students certainly opt for this institute for its fame in education.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are multidisciplinary subjects in Sports and Exercise Science. This degree gives the students a better understanding of sports performance and the factors that affect the behavior in sports. It is a 4 years course that requires students to do 6 months internship.
Placement Experience
The highest package is Rs 12.02 lacs and the average is Rs 4 lacs. The placement starts from the 4th semester. Oberoi, Royal Orchid, ITC, and many more join the institute for placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Each year tuition fee is Rs 1,20,000. The total fee is Rs 4,80,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Professor Balvir Singh Tomar's merit-based scholarship is given on the basis of the 10+2 exam. NIMS University also gives common scholarship cum entrance exam for meritorious students. The percentage is divided into 4 categories. The highest is 50-95% and the lowest is Rs 10-60%.
Campus Life
Every university's library is the pride of it. NIMS is not an exception. The university has well stocked library for each department. There is around 2088 national and international journal in the library. Among indoor and outdoor sports volleyball, basketball, football, etc are available.
Hostel Facilities
The university has residential facilities for more than 1000 students. Healthy food, gym, air conditioner etc are available in the students' residence. Rs 1 lac to 2 lacs per year is taken for hostel fee.
Admission
10+2 pass with PCB and English is the eligibility criteria of the course. Candidates, age must be 17-25 (male)/28 (female) as per on 31st December of the following year. NIMS University entrance test is compulsory for admission.
