Remarks
There was an offline interview which was necessary to take admissions in respected courses. The application form, application fees and application dates are provided with their prospects as well as the online pcte site. A general observation is that most of the students are those who are planning to move abroad in fist year while others are from a business background. There should be an additional test or some eligibility requirements so that the focus shift from only admission of students to admitting quality students which will further lead to the learning environment.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BCom(honours) as it will help me to get more knowledge about commerce and managerial skills so that I could get the in dept knowledge of subjects like accounts, finance, statistics, etc. There are 120 seats for Bcom( honours) and 210 seats for BBA. There are presentations every month of different subjects which are required to be given in front of the class which help you boost your confidence and speaking skills. Teachers teach through ppts which have short points and to the point answers. There was a rumour that the fail everyone in MSE which got true when we gave our first mse as whole class got failed in managerial economics except one child that too got pas by 1 mark.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of BCom(honours) is 28,000 per semester which turns out to be 168,000 in total. The financial assistance in pcte group of institutions. Merit cum means scholarship under minority community, post graduation scholarships for GATE/GPAT students, etc.
Campus Life
The most famous and awaited fest of pcte group of institutes is 'KOSHISH'. In this there are many events organised sports, dance, music, etc. There are loads of parties and events happening on campus with or without pass entry. The infrastructure is good as they have a separate buildings for different courses as for BCom there is an MT- management block.
