I cleared UPTU entrance exam because of its strong general academic reputation.During the years I have spent here, I have come to truly appreciate the depth and breadth of the curriculum. The professors are truly world class and challenge me to take my industry understanding to the next level. My education has given me an excellent foundation for becoming an immediate contributor in the field.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum you would choose is depending upon of your interest and the market review. you must be walk through in your friends circle and check the course contents and then decide which subject/course you should choose. Further, it states that the faculty of all the subjects is very good and college has practical labs which helps in the filed of research.

Placement Experience

Most of IT/other companies come every year and select many of the students by conducting written exam and Interview like TCS, L&T, wipro and Infosys.

Exam Structure

Sessional exams were conducted by the college time to time and based on that Internal marks should be given to the candidate. Labs are inside the college and working very well.PTE Academic assesses listening, reading, speaking and writing all via computer in a single 3 hour test session.

Admission

By clearing state level exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. I got rank in this exam and apply for this particular college and get admission by submitting the fees of Rs 5000/-. You can also get direct admission in this college without taking entrance exam, depending on the availability of seats in management quota.

Faculty

All the faculty are experienced and qualified and must be master degree holder. However, many senior faculty do enjoy teaching introductory classes. Some reasons I could think of include:- they enjoy giving students majoring in other subjects a basic understanding of their subject (or, in the case of science classes, an understanding of how science works).

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
