Remarks
They were really good and helpful with their admission process. They did provide an entrance exam if one wanted to avail of any scholarships. They also consider sports scholarships. They have their own website with an automated bot there to help anyone wanting to find information about the university. For my course which was BPT, the only eligibility criteria were passing the NEET exams. Once you register on their website, their admission staffs get in touch with us within 4 to 5 hours. They are really persistent though. But yeah overall it is really smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
BPT is an upcoming field. One gets to put Dr prefix once they complete their bachelor and after doing your bachelors here, if you go to any foreign country, you can study and work there as well. When I joined here we had lots of faculty here, but as years go on, we have thinned down to only 4 teaching staff from 9 to 10. Although the faculties who remain are really qualified for the job. Exams were conducted on time and if prepared well they are easy to crack
Internships Opportunities
When we get to our 3rd year, we start going for our internships from November onwards. Hospitals like the Metro hospital, NIIMS and Safdarjung provide us with internship opportunities. As a 3rd year, we only watch (we are not allowed to treat the patients), only after getting to our 4th year are we allowed to touch the patients. Summing it up, the college is great for internships.
Placement Experience
I'm still in my 3rd year. We have not yet received any campus placements as such. Although from what I heard from my seniors, once we write and are done with our research papers in 4th year, we start getting our campus placements. Almost 40% of the students get campus placements. After getting my degree, I'll start with my masters after a year of internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike as of such. International students pay around 10k more than their Indian counterparts. I showed them my certificates for sports and got a 20 % scholarship during admission. And if one decides to play for the university they get up to 50% scholarship on tuition fees. No financial assistance or job as of such.
Campus Life
Fests are a thing of the past for this university and so are clubs. The college has gotten stale in terms of extra co-curricular activities. No such amenities in the classroom as well. Although they put good enough priority for sports. Well as said before, no clubs, groups or websites as such exist here.
