Remarks

So I applied for admission to Khalsa College in 2019. The eligibility criteria were 60-65% and the admissions were taken according to the merit system. You can simply apply if you fulfil the criteria and wait for the merit list.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for BSc Biotechnology because I found the subjects very interesting. The teachers are hardworking, they try to clear all your concepts. Almost all the teachers hold a Phd degree. In a 3 year course there are 6 semesters of 6 months each. At the end of each semester the exams are conducted. Well biotechnology is not that easy but it's not like that you can not clear exams it's just that you need to open your book and study.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 63165 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the year almost 250 -300 students got placement in various departments. Companies like Wipro, Amazon, News 18 made amazing job offer deals. Almost 105 companies visited our Campus in the year 2019-2020

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements once they are in the last year of their course. Many companies like Wipro, Amazon have visited the campus and the students have really got placement in these companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides various kinds of scholarships so you can apply for them if you are fulfilling the criteria. I'm currently in my 5th semester so I haven't got placement yet but yes I have seen my seniors got a placement with the average package.

Campus Life

The Campus is really very huge with all the facilities possible. Each and every department has its own library, labs, cafeteria etc. There are many fests and competitions conducted. A youth festival is also conducted in the month of October. There are many sports tournaments too.

Interview Experience

The admission process is simple. The eligibility criteria are 60-65%. If you fulfil the criteria then apply for the admission process. The admissions are done by the merit system. You may also face a Personal Interview by the administrative officer, but nothing to worry about, they'll ask general questions.

Nice collage for middle class students

Placement Experience:

onwards 4th semester students are eligible for internship and after 6th semester students are eligible for placements and companies which repeatdly visits are collage are TCS, infosys, LNT, mother dairy, IBM etc. Average package of this collage is nearly 4 lakhs per annum and placement percentage is around 70 percent.

A perfect place for growth and learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the curriculum is well-designed and covers all the important MLS subjects with both theory and practical training. It helps us understand real-world lab work and prepares us for future studies or jobs. The curriculum is good, but adding more practical sessions and updated lab equipment would make it even better. Exams are held regularly, and their difficulty level is moderate. Students can easily pass if they study on time, though practical exams need more focus.

Great College for Medical Students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly I was not sure if i should do i MLS course, but after I came to this college , they cleared my vision. I don't have enough knowledge about this specific field, the montors guided me & helped me to choose the best. Now I am very happy and satisfied as being the part of MLS department. I will become a Lab technician after this course. The lab technicians plays a very important role in healthcare department. This college provides internships to practice everything. They also conducts job fairs for students such as" Umeed Job Fair "which was conducted recently in the college. The 1st year is basically is theoretical & practical knowledge, after that in 2nd or 3rd year, students gets placements.

I am a first year student and I don't know much about placement. But I did heared they provide placements and company do visits eg fortis.they do claim to provide packages around 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. My plan after getting a degree is to study masters and then get a job in a respective it company

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

I really chose it because its the famous collage of my area and also i have studed my 9th to 12th in their khalsa collage senior secondary school. the school experience of mine is good that's why i thought to take admission in the same collage.
