Remarks

This college of Tamil Nadu offer quality based education to large number of student. It gives great facilities for all round development of the student.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Sc Microbiology syllabus is divided into six semesters. The subjects deal with various topics like molecular biology, enzymology, biostatistics, Bio-Informatics, Microbiology etc.

Placement Experience

Companies like Bharati, Airtel, TCS, HCL offer good jobs for the students. The normal exhibition is over 2.5 LPA. Atleast 60% students get Placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee of the course is Rs 36,860. The students have to submit Rs 8,360 including application fee in the first year and for the rest of the semester Rs 5,780 is taken in each.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are given for the students who come through counselling seat. Students of weakly family income get financial discount. There are scholarships for SC/ST students. Besides, the college gives scholarships to the evening course students.

Campus Life

AVC campus is a ragging free zone. The college is high for library, infrastructures with more than 8000 books and 100 magazine periodicals.

Admission

10+2 exam with 55 - 60% marks is needed for the admission of the candidates. Admission of the UG course will be done on the basis of merit and PI conducted by the college.

Faculty

Faculty are good in terms of communication with the students. They give their best to their profession.

Placement Experience:

The college provides the best placements for students but that depends on their CGPA's The students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th year of college They even offer placements in TATA ,and other Many more prestiged companies Only on basis of good grades and overall extracurricular activities of the students The highest package offered is 1-2 lacs per annum and minimums package is 6-7 lacs per annum I plan on continuing my studies even after degree to acquire PhD Doing PhD is more valuable in a course like biotechnology But it is up to you to choose what you want Whether to go for jobs directly or do something research and get the deserving benefits
