Industrial Visit

After getting hard copy of admission form, in college, There are various windows (cabins) for different sections, for form validation and submission, for document verification, paying fees etc. It's just that this process is too lengthy.

I've always wanted to study in to see in mechanical engineering. The exams are easy only if you study. There are two per semester excluding practicals and university exams. You have to have 80+ percentile to get admitted in mechanical course.

College sends students for industrial visits often to let them experience the actual industrial practice. The duration for it could be a week to month. After industrial visit, the students get more motivated, practical and experienced.

Percentage of campuses visiting the Government colleges are very low. But there are also very high percentage of students getting placements. They are prepared for placement interviews and whatnot. My plans after getting diploma is getting degree.

You have to pay for overall tuition fees, library fees and specifically parking fees. You get scholarship by government and number of campuses are less. Apart from that, you have to buy materials from market or in-college shop, like the stuff you need to study.

There is a department called Gymkhana which conducts the events and fests every now and then. You can also apply to volunteer. And sports and other curricular activities can be counted in as fests and events. There are lot of syllabical books available in library but we are preferred to use one specific publication for obvious reasons.

Group discussion totally depends on students. On how likely they'll be approaching teacher and each other. How they interact, how they divide their works and take responsibility of them. For admission rounds, you just have to wait.
