MTB arts college - centre with excellence

I want to study history, and want to take admission in MTB arts college because it is one of the most reputed institutes in South Gujarat. The students who had secured more than 55%(5%relaxation for school, st) in 12th class in arts, science, commerce stream can apply for admission. First, we have to apply online in the admission portal of the college. After 10 days merit list is prepared by the college and all student whose name is there in the merit list are called for documents verification. On day of counseling we have to appear in the college and present the original documents in front of the nodal officer. After verification of documents we had to pay the fees online and the admission was confirmed.

I want to study history as I have a deep interest in it and also keep in my mind its importance in competitive examination. In college the faculty Currently, the faculty-student ratio is 75:1 in ug and 9:1 in pg and all professors have an average experience of around 20 years. Out of 21 faculties, 12 are Ph.D. holders. In college, teaching is done smart class mode. Exams are organized as per the calendar of the university. Question paper is of subjective mode, and hence we have to explain properly to secure marks.

The college is grant in aid college, hence the fee is 3100 per semester. The college is managed by the educational society, hence the scholarship is provided to financially weak students who perform well in examinations. College does not conduct campus placement, however, it provides training for an interview in reputed firms and also provides coaching for competitive examination free of cost.

The college has its own library which is RFID enabled and has more than 35 thousand books on wide subjects and has a magazine, research journal, newspaper. Every classroom is enabled with a CCTV camera and projector. College is having a large sports ground which contains a cricket pitch, volleyball net, goalposts for football. A separate pavilion for girls and boys is also there. The gymnasium is also available for students to exercise. Equipment for several sports like hockey, cricket, volleyball, basketball, football is present. A lot of extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, mono acting, debate, essay writing, elocution, traditional dance, competitions are organized during a year by the cultural committee of the college.
