MHCET and CAT scores were accepted at the college, although they had an extensive interview process. I opted this college for its affiliation to Pune University and its unique syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
The college provided "earn while you learn" program, where in specific job roles in the office administration etc were offered to students, which they could apply. Apart from these, the college had great relations with companies like Tata Auto Comp, Tech Mahindra etc, where students were regularly placed as interns. Many were also extended with offers to work with these companies after passing out.
Placement Experience
In 2010, the focus was more of making students smart, intelligent and self reliant. They also set up a Placement cell, where faculty and students together reached out to companies. A great many placements were driven by alumni and they constantly remained in touch with the college programs.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provided all scholarships as extended by the Pune University and did have tie-up with local banks for education loans.
Campus Life
The gender ration in the college was skewed in relation to the course, thus HR section had more females and Marketing more males. But overall the gender ration was reasonably balanced. All other activities apart from course specific lectures included all students from all streams, thus we never felt any struggle in mixing with all students and making friends.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the Alumni network of the college is very strong and they are connected annually via events and other outreach programs by the college. They are the primary source of internships and placement of students.
Exam Structure
As we had a trimester exam structure, we usually did not get a lot of spare time. We were constantly focused on assignments, submissions and presentations. Along with these we also organised and participated in multiple events which kept us busy through the year.
Admission
The admission process was a day long affair. We had an introductory session followed by Group discussions and then personal interviews. If someone did not have MHCET/CAT scores, they would have to also appear for a test there. We filled out the forms and were seated in one of the classrooms, there we had a interactive introduction session where rest of the process was explained.
Faculty
All faculty members are well qualified and experienced. Most coming from industry, thus carrying a lot of practical knowledge along with theory. They were also involved in the admission process so as to guide the incumbent with information about the courses and also which one would suit them better.
