Remarks

I applied to nIT, NIIT but my thing was aerospace so I went there. The minimum percentage needed was 50 percent and there was an entrance exam too. The admission process is quite simple after you clear the entrance exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is 30:1. The faculty is quite experienced with more than 20 years of experience. Exams are quite timely after every 3 months. The teachers help us everywhere whenever we need anything. The most important thing is clearing modules. We have to clear 10 modules after getting the computer number and the teachers have been helping us keenly.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Air India provides Internship opportunities to us. After each semester, we get 20 days of air India internship where we get to interact with engineers and work with them too. There is as such no stipend. Though after 2 years, we get paid internships as technicians and it gets increased gradually.

Placement Experience

4

After completing modules and successfully getting a C of C, one can easily get jobs and placement. Firstly, we have to become a technician, then a senior technician then we get ame license. My plans after getting a degree are to get placed in Dubai or Qatar Airways and enjoy all the privileges and good pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is 6,13,000 for the full course. Scholarships are not provided. financial assistance such as loans is provided. The salary hikes after clearing modules and becoming a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer are quite good, ranging between 1 Lakh to 1.5 lakh. After becoming BMM, one can earn almost 8 Lakh per month.

Campus Life

1

There is no social life in College. The only focus is given to studies. No annual fest, no sports activities, no functions. The only thing which is done here is studies. So, with respect to that, the campus life is worse.

Interview Experience

4

There were no interviews or GD but there was a written exam that included the syllabus of 11 and 12 classes, which was of moderate level. One can easily clear the exam if he has good knowledge of class 11 and 12 concepts.

Other Applied Colleges

NIt Delhi | Electrical engineering

I was more interested in aviation field and the campus of NIT is not upto mark.

Placement Experience:

After ninth months of courses, we can apply for an internship which was for 3 to 6 months. Airborne offers a job in Airlines, Hotels, Retail companies and travel companies. They organise campus and off-campus interviews. Old students use to visit who had got placement from airborne. They always give positive reviews on it.
