Remarks
I just contacted my regional admission office of Parul university, and as per their instruction I just mailed all documents (photocopy) like- 10th-12th mark sheet, school lc, passport size photographs to them; also I paid the fees through bank draft. Then it was done hassle free.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Bachelor of Pharmacy for my graduation because I was a bio-student and wanted to become a doctor but unfortunately I didn't qualify for NEET and I didn't want to waste one or more years preparing for NEET. So I choose BPharm as it is a similar and same respected field as well as the integrated part of healthcare except for the knowledge of surgery. Here in PIPR the facilities are highly educated and have great knowledge, as well as they, encourage every student for their bright future. There is a specially appointed person to take the valuable feedback from the students about their faculty members so that if any faculty member couldn't perform up to the satisfactory level they get replaced. During the course of BPharm, you will have 2 semesters in a year and each semester has two internal exams and one external or final exam for the promotion to the next sem.
Internships Opportunities
You can choose the internship opportunity provided by the University but not many for the pharmacy students. So I would suggest choosing any on your own, it may be in your area or here many industries are present you can contact them. Note: You need a compulsory 1 month experience internship certificate to get your degree.
Placement Experience
Placements are really high over here. Students of B.Pharm are able for the placement from 7th sem. Lots of reputable companies come here like- IPCA, Zydus cadilla, Allscrip, Nestles etc. The average salary for B.Pharm freshers is around 2.20 Lakhs highest package was 6 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure obviously get increase each year but in which year you are taking admission the amount of the fee is fixed for the next 3 years. So need to worry about increasing your fees each year. There are scholarships available and that is fixed based on your 12th grade marks percentage. You can get up to a 30% scholarship on your college tuition fee. Also, there is SC, ST, OBC quota through which you can get more scholarships if you come under any of those quotas.
Campus Life
Campus life too amazing and PU got the rank #9 in 2021 all over India under the category of best campus life in a university. Here are lots of opportunities for the students to take in various fests like- cultural fest, EDM nights, Halloween party etc. Also, there is a beautiful garden before the cafeteria where students can get a fantastic vibe at night. There is PU's annual fest called DHOOM happens every year in the month of January and the sports season starts in December and ends in March, so you will be enjoying yourself a lot if you are a sports lover.
Hostel Facilities
There are various types of hostels as per accommodation facilities like- 3 people, 2 people, 9 people, with attached or non-attached bathroom, ac or non-ac rooms. Food quality is decent, you get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Note: No non-veg food is available in the hostel mess. But you can buy from the shops located on the campus or outside the campus. You can book your hostel online or you can book after coming to the campus, but if the rooms are available then only you can get a room.
