Diploma Civil Engineering at GANAPT UNIVERSITY

I didn't apply to any other colleges. I didn't avail any qouta, I applied in the open category. Addmission is very seamless, If you apply after giving ACDPC and score well, you can get a free seat. They also give free seats for financially weak students.

I chose civil engineering cause I have an interest in construction. Faculty to student ratio is about 1 to 30. Most faculties have done M.Tech, some are Ph.D. too. Exams are taken timely according to the academic calendar and they are moderately difficult.

We didn't get an internship due to covid lockdown but our seniors got an internship in AHMEDABAD and they said it was great working in the field it gave them perspective. We only have to do a project ppt by research from Google.

The placement is not that great as I have heard from seniors, but the facility is friendly and they teach well, if one studies well can get a job easily. Highest package is around 3.05L and he had 9.0 CGPA. I'm planning for my own construction business.

Fees are nominal considering other institutions, there was no fees hike since my admission. I even got merit scholarship for rank 2 and got 15 percent back from the GUNI scholarship, state provides scholarships too for students who scored more than 90 percent in High school.

Campus Life is great here, there are always fests and celebrations happening like Yuvarangat in Navratri Science fair. Hackathon and many more. We have 2 big libraries and do not need to buy books from outside we get every book needed from the library. We also have sports complex and many social groups, I'm not in any of that cause classes are online for now.

Rooms have the option of AC and NON AC, I'm in an AC hostel so can tell you about that. Rooms are cleaned timely and are big enough for 3 roommates there is no option of living alone. We get a big enough cupboard, table, chair, and AC of course. We have to pay the Electricity charge for AC The registration process is very easy warden helps with everything. Meals are also nice considering mess we have Punjabi, Gujarati, and south Indian dishes in the menu (mostly Gujarati).
