Entrance Preview

I didn't give any entrance exam, I got admission on merit basis. My passion was to be a hotelier and so I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course it very good and has good potential in the market. In fact not only the professors used to provide us with study materials, we as students also used to do lot of market research to enhance our knowledge and skills. We used to do ODC's ( out door catering) to earn knowledge as well as pocket money.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides two major internships in a 3 year degree course. A 01 month vocational training and 6 months industrial training. The average stipend was Rs 1000 on monthly basis.

Placement Experience

5

The placements happen as per the specialisation and best of the best brands come for the campus placements. Not only this, students who were weak and below average, were not left behind. It was the faculties responsibility to place them as well. All terms and conditions were well informed.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is great. We had both theory and practicals for all subject and that too both on internal and external level. Its was very helpful for weak students as well as they could score in practicals if not in theory. In my entire schooling and college, my college exams were the exams which I enjoyed the most in writing.

Admission

The admission process was quite simple and quick. The college has a capacity of 60 students per course. Its first come first serve. Buy the prospectus and admission form, fill in correct details and submit on time to reserve the seat. Its also provides installment system for paying the fees.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was great and all were well experienced in hotel industry and that too on international basis. The faculty had so much bonding with good hotels, which actually helped the students a lot specially for internships and placements and vocational training.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
