Entrance Preview

I have taken EAMCET exam. I got 109 marks out of 160 in the test. This is the best college for my marks and also one of the best college in Andhra Pradesh. So i opted for this without thinking much.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course are almost same in most of the colleges. The GVPCOE is Autonomous college it can have its own curriculum. For the first year it has same curriculum for all the branches. From the second year onwards it has branch related courses. Curriculum is not different from other colleges and very less innovative. There follow same template from previous years.

Internships Opportunities

In college we don't have any internship but we can do internship in 4-2 semester outside the college. For the M.Tech students there will provide internship with good amount stipend (around 10-15k not exactly) but not for B.Tech students.

Placement Experience

3

In GVPCOE we have highest chance to get a job. As GVPCOE belongs tier-3 college most of them will place to TCS. We will get chance to attend companies like wipro, infosys, intergraph, tech mahindra etc. for computer science students. In my calendar year 90% students got offer who are eligible.

College Events

2.5

For every one or two years college will host FEST. The fest was the most prestigious for the college. There will be cultural events for college anniversary. ,There are ASCII meeting for computer students once in every month. In that students able to discuss about latest technologies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees will be around seventy thousands per year. It is little bit expensive but government of andhra pradesh will give full scholar ship who are unable to pay the college fees. Every year we should pay the college fees after the semester start except for the first year. For the first year they will give deadline before the college starts.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't offered any scholarship / loan facility but government offered both scholarship and loan facility for students.

Campus Life

3.5

There is not gender feeling in the college. All we treated in the same way. It has very good environment . Every there will conduct extracurricular activities like sports and quizes. There had separate ground for cricket, volleyball, basketball, tennis and table tennis.

Alumni/Alumna

There had good alumni network. Some of the senior students will come to college and guide you to prepare interviews. They will conduct mock interviews before one month.

Exam Structure

Every year we have 2 semester for 4 years and for every semester we have 2 mid examinations. We have 2-3 labs for every semester. College have good infrastructure for labs. Each subject has maximum marks of 100 marks and it is sub divided into 40 percentage of internal marks and 60 percent of external marks and for labs it is divided into 50 percentage of internal marks and 50 percent of external marks.

Admission

After getting EAMCET results we should apply for colleges. In the online we should fill the form in that we should colleges and which branch should apply. We can apply more than one branch for the same college. I applied to around 15-20 colleges in that i got admission 4 colleges. GVPCOE is the best out these colleges. So, i opted the GVPCOE college.

Faculty

4

Now a days we are seeing very less passionate teachers and here also the same situation but here has some good administration than most of the colleges. Murthy and pathrudu are very passionate teachers i have ever seen. They will help you doing some mini projects and also encourage a lot. Some of the professors had vast amount of talent, from them we can learn a lot.
