Remarks
This university is one of the top private universities in India and its school of business and management offers under graduation programs with specialization in diversified fields. I got to choose my specialized course according to my convenience, and this is one of the main reasons I recommend this university to my juniors. Since the eligibility criteria for applying to the course required a minimum of 50% in 12th, I was qualified to submit the online application. The final selection was done based on merit score and Personal Interview.
Course Curriculum Overview
In this three-year full-time course, we covered different subjects related to management and commerce throughout the six semesters. The curriculum focuses largely on subjects in finance, accounting, taxation, marketing, and human resource management. The most interesting part of the curriculum was the Industry Training Program which took place in the fifth semester. The teaching method was very practical-oriented, and I believe one of the best faculty teams taught us.
Placement Experience
We were encouraged to participate in the industry training programs organized by regulatory bodies such as AIMA, CII, and NEN. These training programs helped us in enhancing our managerial skills, personality development, and realizing our potentiality. The tie-ups and foreign collaborations with several organizations such as Dabur, Bond University, Innovation Labs, London School of Business Lancashire, London School of Management, etc. have created international exposure for us. The key recruiters at the campus recruitment drive were Amazon, Cocacola, Microsoft, Nestle, Havells, OYO, Ernst and Young, Karvy stock building company. I did not take part in the final placement program since I wanted to pursue MBA after my graduation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid Rs 9500 per semester as the total semester fees and Rs additional Rs 2000 per semester as the examination fee. The candidates were allowed only to pay the fees through the crossed bank demand draft. The university has tie-ups with some reputed banks to provide educational loans for which some of my friends applied, though I did not apply for any financial assistance from it. Several corporate houses, MNCs, educational institutes, finance institutes, government agencies, and health care set up offered job opportunities as well as internship opportunities to us.
Campus Life
The classes were conducted in lecture rooms, lecture theaters, and smart classrooms. The first thing we used to do after attending the classes was to have discussions and debates about the topics with the professors and peers in our tutorial rooms. The available reference books, e-journals, internet services, digital books provided in our main campus library worked as extra help for us in time of our reference work. During our time on campus, we used to visit the cafeteria, gym, play badminton, play carom, and take yoga classes after several hours of studying. I used to be a member of the debaters club which is one of the student clubs of our campus.
