Course Curriculum Overview

All the 8 semesters include a total of 40+ subjects and except first year all of them belongs to core electronics. the course povides direct applications in major areas related to electronics such as telecommunications, and electronics sectors, while directing for development of necessary skills for integration of hardware and software components i.e. embedded systems.

Alumni/Alumna

Choosing VIET as an option for engineering was a tough decision fifteen years back when it was supposed to get admission in the very first batch of VGI. But I could proudly say now that I don’t regret in making that decision. VIET helped me in overall personality development apart from providing necessary technical skills to grow and survive in this competitive world. Taking this opportunity to thank all my teachers, mentors and college.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
