Remarks
I applied admission for to only Andhra loyola college in the sense of pursuing a visual communication course, which is available near to my native place, lower fee and meets my requirements. I visited the college in admission, asked few questions about the department and I met the head of the department of visual communication course and made my decision to join. There is an exam after verification of application and an interview. I wrote an exam and attended the interview and got selected. The process of admission and joining is easier to understand.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I am interested to do journalism and electronic media repeated studies such as television production and mass communication etc, faculty is completely good, helping their students, their qualifications and experience also help to reach beyond their subject. The ratio between faculty and student is so good. Not only in studies faculty helps in students personally to develop their learning skills, helps to overcome their difficult steps in understanding. Explains topic ik detail with related examples including their real-life experience. Exams will be from time to time according to the schedule they given when we join. Even in this covid situation they somehow managed to make things set right as early as possible, I think we the only college I know are pursuing 5th sem present by completing 4th sem a 2 months ago with practicals and sem ending exams even in this covid situation. Exams won't be difficult if prepared enough and won't encourage malpractic
Internships Opportunities
The internship is student choice, he/she can join wherever they like or know related to their course, I worked as a member of social media management in the state command control room as a crisis department as a part of an internship after the 2nd year, Though I am pursuing 5th present, I don't have clarity about these points.
Placement Experience
Students from 3 year or 5th sem are eligible for cousin placements, till I am persuing 5th sem it is the starting of placements and infosys had approached till now. I don't know clearly about package and profiles offeres, the percentage should be more than 65% and their knowledge matters. I am having 6th sem internship their I will finalise my plan after getting degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are lesser than the other universities and colleges' fee sections. Even i personally checked other univesties and colleges who are offering this visual communication course, they are taking more than one lakh and some universities crossed 1.5 lakh oer year but syllabus and reviews are not satisfactory. Here the syllabus is good and fees of course worths it. The scholarship I get are releated to government like vidyadivena and vasathidevana.
Campus Life
Loyola encourages co circular activities and student talents, fests, and events are celebrated as a festival in Loyola. Students from several departments showcase their skills and talents, ex: ethnic day, even flashmob from the visual communication department and other fests, etc. Library is Available for books and journals. Loyola has ground and various sports and events on the district level and selected players will play nationals from here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good for discipline and study hours every day. Strict schedule, students who want to grow as a discipline hostel of Loyola will be the best option. Food is average though every hostel has this problem. The menu changes every day according to the weekly timetable, rooms are small for degree students which can be shared by two members but that's enough if they can adjust.
