Anugrah Narayan College, The Pride of Eastern India

Anugraha Narayan College is a reputed College of Patna. It is affiliated with Patliputra University. It offers a course in Arts and Sciences stream. Commerce stream is not available here. In Arts and Science both stream it is No. 1 College in Eastern India. It is also provided with an A Grade from UGC under the National College Ranking framework. Many of the high officials, ministers, intellectuals, etc belong to this college. The average Fee is around 4000 for Under Graduate Courses. But girls are negligible to 1000. The admission process is conducted by Patliputra University in the month of April - July. It is based on your marks in Class 10 and 12. No separate entrance test is taken as of now. For getting this College you should have around 70 percent or higher in your intermediate. Other facilities include the Huge Library, Canteen, Sports Hall, Auditorium, Field, etc. The hostel facility is not available as of now but may be available in the future. Overall this College is the Top College in Patna.

It is one of the Top Colleges in Eastern India for the Arts and Science stream so I opted for under Graduate in Bachelor of Economics. The student-faculty ratio is around 25:1. So you can consider is a good ratio in comparison to other colleges nearby. Faculty qualifications are PG and Ph.D. with various Rank Holder in different categories. Teaching methods are best as it includes both offline as well as online coaching as per the need of the hour. Term exam is conducted by University, not College so College has no role in it. Apart it is timely conducted with average difficulty. A student with an average will get passed and one needs to study hard to get 1st Diviy or Top Ranks.

Placement is mainly offered in Vocational Courses like BCA, BBM, IT, etc. Lots of reputed companies visit to recruit students. They offer decent salaries to meritorious students. The average placement salary is around 3L. Maximum may go up to 10-15 Lakh as per company and post offered. My plan is to prepare for UPSC Civil Services Examination. So I am not looking for any placement opportunities within the college.

Fee Hike policy is moderate with around 200-300 hikes per year. Sometimes Fee didn't Hike. It mainly depends on the College Expenditure and thus decided based on that. Girls fee is negligible and didn't increase more than100. A person can get a Merit scholarship, NSP Scholarship, Bihar Government Students Credit Card Scheme scholarship. So there is no worry about the financial issues so much as lots of options are available with students. Many companies mainly do campus placement in the field of Vocational Courses like BCA, BBM, IT, etc. They also offer a decent package and stipend.

Annual Day is celebrated on College Establishment Day every year. No tech fest is conducted separately. Library facilities are very good for all courses be it UG, PG, Ph.D., and others. The classroom has BlackBoard, well Tables and chairs, lighting, Fan, Ventilation, etc. Few classes have Smart Class and CCTV. RO is there in each department. Sports meet is conducted annually for both indoor and outdoor games separately. Telegram Group is there, Whatsapp Group is there, NCC, NSS, and all others groups are there.
