The course is ideal for students who want to go into research industries like pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, IT industry and so on. Apart from the regular BSc course, students can also choose to pursue BSc Hons degrees as well. The eligibility criteria is same for both the courses. There are several scholarships, available like INSPIRE Scholarships, HDFC Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS), Promotion of Science Education (POSE) Scholarship, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), etc for students who wish to pursue BSc courses.
