Remarks

I applied for TNEA counseling. I selected Sri Sairam Engineering College as my 4th priority and I got admission there. Our college has both Management Quota and Government Quota. The fee will be different for both Quotas.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Information Technology because of its good scope. The staffs are well trained and they are well knowledged. They are friendly with us and they clear all our doubts then and there. The maximum no. of students in the class will be 60. The difficulty of our exam paper will be moderate only and sometimes hard too.

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Nearly more than 100 companies provide internships for students. And it is compulsory for us to take part in internships. They will provide a stipend to us. As I'm a second-year student I don't have ideas about Projects.

Placement Experience

After the 6th-semester students are eligible for placements. Many companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys, Accenture and other top companies are the regular recruiters of our colleges. More than 95% of our students got placed in good companies witha good package. And some students go abroad for their PG.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for Government Quota will be affordable only but the fees for Management Quota will be higher. There are many scholarships for girls and BC, MBC and other community Candidates. Our college provide various internships from the second year

Campus Life

The campus is clean and hygienic. Our college has a good infrastructure. Labs are well equipped and the library has all the books upto date. There are many clubs and they are conducting many activities in the clubs. We have NCC, NSS and sports. There are many social webpages for our college and they will update the students achievements. The classrooms are spacious and ventilated.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

About the Sairam

The number of colleges i applied are not that many but i still applied for few ones .like i applied for REC,SSN,VIT,CEG.the reason i chose this one affordability amongst all. No i didn't get an rejection from other college .i didnt join them with my own decision. Sad truth

I applied through tnea counselling. I had a cutoff of 189.5/200 and I applied for top colleges like CEG,MIT,SSN. I know I won't get seat in those colleges as my cutoff is not upto that level. Then I preferred for REC, CIT AND then SEC. My primary need is cse course. Even though I got seat in REC in ECE department.
