Remarks
I got admission to B. Tech. Information Technology by PET (MP) ranking based counsilling procedure. for admission at my time minimum 55% in 12th with PCM in major along with PET or AIEEE qulified. After counsilling at GEC Rewa i have reported to college and there was very smooth procedure for admission reporting.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was having an interest in Information Technology so i have choosen this course. there was 1:10 faculty student ratio at my time. All of them was PhD or Post PhD qualified professor from most reputated institution of India and abroad. They all taken a good care where we was lagging and motivated to improve.
Internships Opportunities
Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and many more companies allowed us to have a chance for paid internships at their premisis during our industrial training period. I had worked on Online tickiting system with a company and got 6k per month as stipend.
Placement Experience
After examination of 6th semester B. Tech. Students become eligible for the placement. apart from placement paid internships are also provided to us. from my batch, there was 80% student got placed with companies with an average package of 2.4 in 2008.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was very nominal for learning and stay with a good mess facility. College also motivates to earn by teaching school kids with our major skills so that we can be able to improve our teaching as well communication skills.
Campus Life
In our central library, there were more than 5lac books as well as 10k+ journal and magazine subscriptions. we are allowed to take 5 books per semester without any extra cost. campus has 20acre of ground for different sports events like cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, and many other.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room equipped with Fan, Bed, Almirah, Table and chairs separate for each student. there was 2 & 3 sharing based room with full security and separate mess. the meal was above average and students are also allowed to run their own mess.
