overview of Dayananda Sagar Institute

I appeared in Karnataka pgcet entrance exam, after the results my rank was 1964 there I had to choose 10 colleges based on my location, and on the basis of my rank, i was allowed Dayananda Sagar college. I submitted initial fees of 55000 to pgcet Karnataka and to the college i paid 65000 more for additional expenses like library expense, gym expense e.t.c

I selected this course because I had lots of interest in becoming an entrepreneur. The faculty is very helpful and highly educated, they were mostly p.h.d holders and they used to conduct monthly tests of 40 marks along with the regular semester exams which were conducted timely according to the university schedule.

I did my internship with Abhi Nandan engineers for my final project and for my mini project my topic studied the sales and growth of insurance products in Bengaluru. And for the final project, it was for the sales and growth of iron products in Karnataka.

After the completion of the first 3 semesters, the placements had begun we had many good companies visiting our college and almost 90 percent of our batchmates got placed. Higest package in my knowlwdge was aroun 800000. I had a plan to start my own business.

As i went via entrance (pgcet) my fees were comparatively lower than the management students which is around 5.5 lakhs, from my college i got placed in byjus and abhinandan engineers. My yearly fees was around 1.20 lakhs which was submitted from my parents savings.

DSI had many events for students like a good annual fest, sports week, tech fests and many more, we had a huge library with a good collection of books and journals, the classrooms were clean and tidy along with a teachers computer and projector.
