Good college for only those who want to get a degree

I only applied to one college and that was Softvision college and the reason I didn't go to that college was because of its little high fees. The admission criteria in my college were not very complicated, even if you have minimum passing marks in the 12th standard you can get admission to the college. The admission process was very smooth, first I was given counselling by the respected teacher and after the counselling session, I was given a good overview of the college.

Bcom is a pretty famous subject among commerce pass outs and the reason why I did BCom was that I wanted to get a degree from a good college so that I can give government exams after my graduation. The faculty ratio is about 1:50 which is not very good but I haven't faced any issues as such. The teachers were well qualified and were pretty experienced in their fields and every faculty had their own way of teaching. There were no exams taken before the main examination, my BCom was semester wise so I only had to give the main semester exams before that no exams were held or taken.

I had no internship experienced because I didn't go for any of the given internships and I feel most of the students of my college don't prefer to take part in internships. The companies that come to our college to give internship opportunities to students are not very well reputed and generally the internships and not that good too.

The students who clear their 2 years get the opportunity to sit in campus placements. I myself didn't go for campus placements because though the companies come in the college but the packages are very few, and most of the students don't prefer to go for campus placements. Personally, I don't have any idea about what is the highest package or what is the average package because most of the students don't prefer to sit into the campus placements because of fewer packages. I have already passed my college and now I am preparing for government exams and other students who are not preparing for government exams can prepare for MBA.

As my course was bcom plain and I had to pay my college fees in two instalments, 4000 in one semester and the remaining 4000 in another semester. The fees were not increased in our college it was same as 4000 in the first year till the last year. I had to pay 8000 in the first year and it goes same for all the years until the degree is being done. A basic scholarship of 4000 was given as I fall under the OBC category other than this no other scholarship or financial assistance was given.

Though the college is small and it has less space for these kinds of activities, but then also the college use to organise DJ parties, Garba competitions, dance competitions and other cultural fests. The college had one library which was considerably big and had all the books which students required. Sports competitions were held in our college and we use to compete with other colleges in inter college competitions I personally went to play kabaddi from my college.
