Remarks
I applied for VIPS, Pitampura but due to long distance I chose TIPS, dwarka over it. I belong to the general quota and didn't avail any reservation quota. You have to apply for the IPU CET exam for you respective course. Our CET exam took place during COVID taking all the precautions. The result was out by the 3rd or 4th week. All the admission-related info was available on GGSIPU's official site. We have the option for choice filling then seats are being alloted to us according to our CET ranks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of TIPS is very good. The course curriculum provides theoretical as well as practical knowledge to you. Faculty and student ratio here is 1:60. The teaching method of the teachers is also nice. As we are having all are sessions online till the covid comes to and end, everything is being managed very systematically. Exams are conducted 2 times a year, if you study properly you can pass easily. I scored A grade in almost every subject in my first year.
Internships Opportunities
Several programs related to internships are being held here and the faculty members keep notifying the students so that they do not miss any opportunity. Companies like WIPRO, HCL, IBM visit here looking for interns.
Placement Experience
Placements are good, as renowned companies like Amazon, WIPRO, Infosys, HCL, Flipkart, TCS , Byju's, etc. come here to provide placements and internships. Getting placements is in your hand idf you are performing good in your course then obviously no-one can stop you to get a placements. But ya an average of 75-80% gets placed every year with a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The basic Fee structure that only includes academic fees with exam fees included is on average 1.06 lakhs and there is an alumni fee of approx 5,000. Scholarships on different criteria are also being provided here.
Campus Life
The College campus is good. The whole campus is equipped with centralized AC. The college organizes several fests. There are 2 cafeterias. Apart from this, there are several socities that are being managed by the seniors like ACting, Dancing, Singing, etc. which help you in enhancing yourself and exploring by taking part in respective competitions.
