Remarks

College is afgiliated under calicut university and admission is based on meritbas well as management quota. I availed admission under merit quota. Minimum 60 perc is required for admission. Political science is a good course and offering social aspects awareness. Admission is based on merit after 10+2 and you have to apply for the admission then they call for admission

Course is good and giving awareness about constitution and awareness about society. 10 students have 1 teacher and highly qualified teachers are there. Term exam is conducting by calicut university timely and precisely. Exam is average and average students can pass the exam

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is average as the college is not so best. College is not increasing fees every year so students can afford it easily. Institution is not providing any svholarships but some scholarships are there for obc and below poverty lines by state government and central government. There is no internship and campus placement by the college.

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

The Beautiful SB Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students
