Entrance Preview

The University has its own examination procedure for in-take of students. Apart from this it also considers CLAT score as an criterion. The reason for selecting this university was Prof. V.S. Mani, you can read about him on his wiki page. Sadly, he has passed away this year.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is one of the finest as it is being prepared by Prof. V.S. Mani (an international law scholar). Given his reputation he know the nuances of the subject well and has accordingly crafted a course that covers a wide array of law subjects along with specific topics to be taught each semester.

Internships Opportunities

No our college doesn't have a robust placement cell when it comes to law school. I really cannot comment on other courses offered by the University. Though we have a good placement track for Hotel Management Students and Engineering Students.

Placement Experience

2

Our university needs to work a lot on the placement cell of the law school. There has to be a placement cell which is dedicated towards internship and job opportunities for the law students. Majority of the students have got themselves a job either through PPO or through by applying on their own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's at par with all other premium law schools in the country except for law schools like Jindal. During my law school years the fee started with Rs.55,000/- then it increased every year with Rs.10,000/- and the final year the fee being Rs.95,000/-. This is only tuition fee. The fee for transportation and hostel was separate. For a 2 to hostel the charges were Rs.40,000/- for a year that would also include food.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is well maintained. There are no issues in terms of one's ethnicity or religious beliefs. Even we have students coming from abroad for pursuing courses here. We organise one of the happening events in Jaipur which goes by the name of Technorazz that covers a wide variety of competitions from robotics to fashion shows to DJ.

Hostel Facilities

3

I didn't like it much during my days but I hear it has improved. And also the fact being that I only stayed in hostel for 4-5 months. There are three messes we have in each campus. Friday we used to get special food. Non-vegeterians would get chicken and vegetarians would get paneer. Ice cream for all. Plus there were 3-4 water coolers on all floors.

Exam Structure

Exams were chilled out. No issues as to its conduct or schedule. After the exams there was ample time for one to go back and rest. There were gaps between exams so as to allow the students to prepare well. We used to have twice the written examinations, one of 20 marks and another being of 60 marks.

Admission

As I said there is an entrance examination conducted separately conducted by the University. The session generally starts in August and examination is conducted around June or July. The form can be downloaded online and the entire process can be completed through online mode. One can also choose to visit the campus to do the same.

Faculty

3

The faculty is good but we need more experienced and full-time faculties. This along with placement cell needs to be worked upon. We had some good faculties in the past but they moved to other law schools for better pay or some other reason. The university has to really address this issue for betterment of the students. It has to shell out money at times to retain good talent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
