I have applied for admission in sengunthar engineering college via counseling. i scored 75 % off marks in 12th. the counseling process was very easy. i attend offline counseling and i choose sengunthar engineering college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen B.E MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. i choose mechanical because i have more interest in machinery so i choose mechanically. our department has 8 faculty and my class have 45 students. out of 8 three faculty was phd holders and others have a master degree. in my course, there are 8 semesters each semester have 3 internal exams,1 revision test, and a semester exam.
Placement Experience
During 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. 200+ companies visited and more than 500 offers are made. 40-60 % of students are getting placements per year. and 20-25% of students start their own business. 10-15 % of students join master's degrees.
Fees and Financial Aid
my fees structure is 70,000 per semester i am a first graduate so i have a first graduate scholarship of 25,000 and i have a special scholarship from sengunthar test of 20,000 . finally my semester fees is 25,000. i additionally i have my MBC scholarship of 8,000 per year.
Campus Life
sago is the tech fest which is conducted by sengunthar engineering college each semester. in our college we have a big library and 40 computers for E-library with internet facility. almost all books are available if any are not available, they will make available within a week. apart from studies, they give major importance to sports & extracurricular activities. NSS,NCC, ROTARACT CLUB are social group, clubs for students run by students.
