IIT(BHU) , a college experience

I had applied for IIT Kanpur, B.tech(civil), But my rank was high that's why I wasn't able to clear cut off. I'm General category comes, now there is EWS category as will for general category student. To take admission in IIT(bhu) Varanasi, I had to clear Jee mains and then JEE advance with a rank under 10k. The counselling process takes one day to verify the documents of student.

Pharmaceutical engineering is very new from a Btech point of view but from a technical view, it has medicinal and technical courses. Faculty: student ratio is 40 which is good enough. Faculties are highly qualified and have good experience in their field like PHD, 10+ year experience. Every college conduct 2 major exams, midterm and end terms, the student can pass if they focus in class it's average

In internship most companies offer Software profile roles and companies like Google, Hindustan Unilever, Microsoft etc comes every year. Projects are compulsory and important to understand concepts and have good knowledge of the subject.

Campus placement starts from December every year 7 sem onwards students can sit in placement. Almost all reputed companies visit our campus like Google, Microsoft, TCs, Wipro etc. 98.4% of students get placement After completing my degree I'm looking to go into the product management field.

Fees per semester depending on the category, for general category students it's around 1lakh per sem. It usually remains the same for up to 2 years. There are various scholarships organised by the government and alumni network, maximum people get placed on campus with an average package of 12 lakh.

Kashiyatra and technex are annual events and tech fest respectively of IIT Varanasi, which is organised usually in Jan and Feb. Most books are available in the library for study and buy for home study. Extracurricular activities are awesome almost every sport are played on campus. They are lots of clubs as well Club of programmers, Robotics, Student counselling service etc clubs are available.

Rooms are good but need improvement in infrastructure in 2 people per room is allotted per semester. Food is quite good and different types of foods are available every day in mess veg and non veg both. Registration is easy and every student must have to do it before document verification.
