Introduction to BSc Nursing in JCN College

I applied to Municipal Arts and Science College for the course BSc Biotechnology. This course was not of my interest and hence I have decided to quit this course. More over I have also applied in SK Patel University for Bsc nursing but this college is not as good as the college which I have selected. so I decided to switch over. I belong to the general category and I do not avail any reservation quota for my admission. The minimum mark required to get admission is 50% in 12th. If I talk about the admission process, then it was a centralised counselling system for admission in BJ Medical College Ahmedabad. We have to choose all the colleges that we are interested in and we will be allotted a seat in the college based on our merit marks.

This course is having wide opportunities in India as well as foreign countries. So I decided to go for this course. Also, this course will connect me with people and I will get a chance to help and care for them hand to hand. There almost 40 faculty in the college. 10-15 students per 1 faculty. Most of the faculties have degree of MSc nursing. Elsa to faculties have PHD. And some fresh faculties have BSc Nursing degrees. Exams were conducted every two months and the level of the exam was moderate.

Many Government Hospitals and Private Hospitals are provisional opportunities for students to carry out internships over there and to have practical knowledge. Major projects that have been done in this college are Teenage Pregnancy Awareness, Medicine Development for Dangue, Child Welfare Awareness.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Zudys Hospital, Apollo Hospital visits Ingnor for campus placement. Every year at least five to six students get a chance to place in the company. I want to pursue Asda's in my field and want to join the college as a faculty.

Free scholarship available name MYSY (Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana) given by Government of Gujarat for this scholarship student who belongs to poor family background. The government is paying 50% of their tuition fees hostel fees and also charges for books and stationery. SC/ST students are getting scholarships given by Central Government as they belong to backward classes.

An annual fest named Tarang is organised every year in our college in January. The library facility is amazing there are many books as well as magazines are available newspapers and research papers are also there all the things is written by our seniors and us are available in the library. NSS is the social group that is working for the Welfare of society. Also, these colleges of nursing students every year students from our college used to go to hell some medical camps in the places where it required to have a medical facility.
