Remarks
I applied to VIT University and attended the exam. But my grade wasn't enough to join the course. Admission criteria are the candidate must graduate and minimum marks are 50% and age must be 20 and above. The admission process was fair enough.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually, I love mathematics. It is interesting to solve all problems and it will make us curious to solve problems so I chose this course. The faculty are very friendly. Clearing every doubt and treat us like their friends. Most of the staff have completed the doctorate. Less than half are pursuing their doctorate. All the staffs are mostly good enough in their teaching. There is no black mark in their teaching. Exams will be conducted for two months once. And there will be class tests to gain our knowledge and to do better in semester exams. It's not that difficult to pass. Like we need to study and be ready for exams so we can pass the exams easily.
Placement Experience
There are some kinds of placements but that's not enough. We can apply for placement in our final semester. I planned to join in coaching classes for tnpsc and banking exams. My dream is to get a government job in banking. If banking is not an option it would be group exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
For 1 year fee for Msc mathematics is 50,000. This includes both semester fees and exam fees. There is scholarship issued in our college. IVDP scholarship, SC/ST scholarship, first graduate scholarship, single parent scholarship and more categories are allotted for scholarships. Placement cell is available in the college campus where every year students get placement offers from educational institutions or companies.
Campus Life
There is a freshers talent show for freshers in the month of July. College day is held in February, gratitude day is held in the month of March, Sports day is held in September. Every month "month value" is conducted by each department. Our library has 20000+ books and 5000+ journals All classes have projectors for better learning and good ventilation classrooms. Sports and extracurricular activities are given more importance. Various clubs like rangers, youth red cross, debate club, NCC, NSS, quiz club, enviro club and many other clubs are there.
