Remarks
The admission process was very smooth and institute has a very clean and hospitable environment. They explained the whole admission process and said it will be based on merit. The minimum criteria marks of 12 Science PCB was 55% and my age was 18. I was fond of this field since my 11th started. There was an orientation programme on the first day of the college where all the parents and students were explained about the college, course, semesters, achievements, dress code of the college and introduction with all the faculties. There was also a college and campus tour arranged after the orientation where we were shown all the laboratories and classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I became fond of learning about it in my higher secondary. The faculty is very well qualified in good institutes and we have many PHD completed professors. Professors and teachers monitor the student's activities in labs. During regular practicals, we had 4 hours of labs which kept us so occupied and busy all day. The teaching staff is very helpful with the doubts, research work, and thesis too. Term exams were all conducted timely but as we have a semester system we were always busy with some of the other internal or external exams.
Internships Opportunities
GPAT qualified candidates are offered free m.pharm and nonqualified candidates are also given a monthly stipend. There are many research works and projects that the faculty and college are involved in. The students get internships and training in various pharmaceutical companies, I got my training in a company.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements in final sem B.Pharm and final sem M.Pharm. Many of our seniors are placed in good pharmaceutical companies and most students have opted for higher studies after B.Pharm and I have the same plan of higher studies after completing the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of the college is 45000 per semester, i.e 90000 annually. As compared to other private institutions the amount seems fine. But I've heard that the yearly system students had 45000 fees annually. Personally I didn't apply for any scholarship, but they do have options of scholarships for the students who can't afford the fees and are really bright. There ain't no stipend for B.pharm students, but college offers free M.pharm + stipend to GPAT qualified candidates.
Campus Life
There is a Pharma annual fest and cultural night held in December. All the other departments also have the fest on different days. All the students start preparing for the same in November. The programme helps students to show their talents may it be singing, dancing, acting, fashion walk, etc. Teachers also participate in the same. In February month, we have sports week for the college. Before that, we have a day celebration. The library is very well established with all the books or any department are available. Also, there is an e-books system available. Different study halls are provided for both UG and PG students. Many activities of sports i.e cricket, badminton, indoor games, yoga, self defence for girls.
