The admission process takes place based on counselling of student's documents. SNQ quota can be claimed if applicable. Both government and management seats are provided. Still, counselling was not held. We have 6 different courses like civil, computer science, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, metallurgical, mechanical. The fee structure is different for different courses. For the management seat, the Candidate should collect the application form in the college and fill it with proper information. After selecting his/her interested branch they can take challan and pay the fee in the bank which is behind the college. We have made an installation based fee structure where students can be admitted by paying half of the fees while joining and the rest of the amount after 2-3 months of joining. Even after admitting to one particular branch students have a chance to change with any other branch. And also college has a provision to convert management seats to the government if that student had claimed.

The diploma can help us to gain technical knowledge in a short period of 3 years. Lecturers are very friendly and skilful. The college maintains faculty students ratio as per the AICTE rules(1:25). All are enthusiastic, talented and generous. Some are qualified with degrees and some are with master degrees in their respective subjects. Even students are honest and sincere. Lecturers use different teaching aids like written notes, ppts, animation videos, classroom activities etc which make the students have a better understanding of concepts. Each department has separate cells like discipline committee, anti-ranging committee, IAQC cell etc. In each sem students have to undergo 3 Continuous Internal Evaluation(CIE). Which consists of 3 written tests and 3 skillset activities. The final semester exam result consists of a written exam and a part of CIE. Lab exams are very easy to take and flexible. Passing the exam is easy as we have options in each part of the question. Students can get year wise certificates.

All final year students undergo internships for many of the local companies in and around Shimoga. Companies like Tarasvi infotech Pvt.Ltd., sulochana, mandavi, etc are providing better training to students. And all these companies are private sectors i.e., college is not having any bond with them. It's completely student's interest. During their internship period, they will learn about PHP, Python, IoT, AI, OOPs, DBMS and even more concepts, languages and technologies. By the end, students can write their own programs, can create web pages, can upload data to databases etc.

Students from the second year itself undergo basic placement training. Students from the 5th sem are taken care of seriously by training and guiding them for better development of their carer. Any student can attend any company's interview based on their eligibility criteria. Most of the companies like Toyota, Royal Enfield, Wipro, Mando, JSW, Bosch, Bharat electronics, Thasmai are hiring students of our college with suitable packages. About 40% of the students get placed on different companies based on their performance and about 30% of students will go for higher studies and remaining are self employed.

The college fee structure is different for different branches. And fee payment is based on an instalment system where students can admit to the college by paying just half of the amount and remaining after 2- 3 months of joining. Exam fees are separate from tuition fees. In each semester students must take exams by paying exam fees as specified by the board. College provides scholarship facilities, students are continuously informed about the scholarship updates. Many scholarships like SSC, karepass etc.

There is the equal priority given to cultural and sports activities as given to the curriculum. Usually, first year students are invited by their senior friends as 'fresher's day' in July. Later sports activities are encouraged with no specific period but all the time during their course time. During mid of the even semester, the college will conduct an annual fest where all the students are encouraged to participate in it. Many cultural events like dance, songs, skit, mad adds, painting, rangoli, cooking, indoor games etc are conducted. Students are awarded their prizes and medals. Yearly both inter and intra college sports events are conducted. Students will participate heavily to grab medals to the college which enhance the prestige of the college in the city. The college has official Facebook and Instagram account and also maintaining a website to showcase its features to the world. Coming to the library, PES trust has a digital library facility along with the physical library.
