I have choosen MBBS course in my college beacuse , I have cleared meet and AIIMS entrance exam so I wanted to become a doctor . There are lots of professors who teaches human physiology here , all the facilities are nice , each faculty are having high qualifications like the anatomy faculty is doctor also and all. Now after 2 year of MBBS course now you have to give NEET PG exam which is quite tough .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of RIMS Ranchi is for a 1-year course of MBBS, it costs around 6000 per year but there is no scholarship program because you are doing MBBS in government college so you don't have to worried about college fees because it is very less.

Campus Life

5

The life at my campus is awesome, there you will found lots of things which you are going to love after coming to this college. Every year college prepares an annual fest where lots of participants participate in dance and all. After that, if you are a reading Holic you will have a 24 hours open library. The campus contains 2 cricket grounds, 1 lawn tennis, 1 indoor big room for indoor games n all. 1 basketball ground etc. All sports facilities are here. The campus has two gyms also, one for girls and the other for the boys. So if you want to maintain your fitness level you will find no difficulties here as the gym is here.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel of my college is good but I will not tell very good because the power supply is here only 20 hours, at the night the power was cut for 4 hours which is very bad. Now the hostel room provides us with 1 fan, study table, water supply, 2 beds and a study light. Now our college has 4 mess, every 4 hostels have 1 mess. The food is very tasty and healthy here. There is no complaint regarding food services here. For the registration for a hostel, you need to pay the bill of the hostel at the time of admission. My hostel is located in the middle area of RIMS Ranchi.

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program is a highly sought-after degree that prepares students for a career in medicine. A key aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is its emphasis on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application. The inclusion of subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology provides a strong foundation for understanding the human body and its functions. Furthermore, the clinical rotations and internships allow students to interact directly with patients, giving invaluable hands-on experience. The curriculum is well-structured to equip students for real-world medical practice and further academic pursuits. Clinical postings in hospitals and exposure to different medical specialties enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills. The focus on research methodology also lays the groundwork for those interested in pursuing postgraduate studies or contributing to medical advancements. However, there are areas where the MBBS curriculum could improve. For instance, introducing more interactive teaching methods, such as case-based discussions and simulation labs, would better prepare students for complex clinical scenarios. Additionally, integrating modules on soft skills, such as communication and empathy, could enhance patient care. Exams are frequent, usually held at the end of each semester, with assessments ranging from theory papers to practical exams. While challenging, they are crucial for assessing a student’s knowledge and clinical aptitude. However, spreading out exams and providing more time for preparation could reduce stress and improve performance, ensuring a better learning experience overall. Cons are course length and also the difficulty level.
