Disciplined college days.

I took entrance exam after my 12th standard in the year 1999 i have scored 228/300 in the exam this college was part of madras university which made me to select at the same time very near to national highway.

When i joined my college my college was just 5 years old still the kind of infrastructure which was provided to us was excellent. They offered EEE, ME,CHEMICAL, ECE, CS, IT and also at the fourth year of us we had MCA introduced and chemical department had a good lab setup than other departments.

Yes college campus interview was available still remember one company called " Selvam graphics" from my hometown was hiring people from my college.

I am sorry i could not recall those details as of now, as i ahve passed 13 years but still remember atleast 25% of the students were placed through college in 2003.Can not give more information. But come to know that college much developed and are offering campus placements to around 60% of the students in the year 2012.Dont know the status today .But i am sure definetly it is more now.

I remember few technical events organized with neyveli power corporation for my dept.Few culture events with dance ,act, Essay competition, poetry competition, rangoli. One more event which i could not forget is my convocation where i had chance to meet all the my college mets.

First year i was paying Rs 45000 as my tution fee, where as in the furtur years it was only 2000/Year the hostel fees was around 10000/year and monthly canteen expenditure for food was around 1000 Rs/Month.Apart from this i don't think we had spent single rupee more.

We were given 3-4 number of cot in a room with 2 fans there were row of restroom and batroom in all the floor for the students to cater, which was suffice our requirment. Mess food was vegetarian and good.No such bad experience to share with food still remember the lunch given at afternoon snacks were served during evening hours.

We had internal assessment exams on every 3 months all the parents were kept informed on the score of the students fail to present for the exam was penalized we used to attend the exams and then punk of the classes on the same day. The vigilance is so strict,you can not copy from others or books and exchange papers.

I have the opted the college through the counselling carried out in chennai along with my father we went to shoulder for the college admission . We have met the correspond and submitted the necessary forms with certificates and paid the fee.The administration was carried out through out the day we were given a warm welcome during the admission.

Faculty were some how experienced and were kind to the students. I still remember my Enginnering Economics staffs - Balamurugan, Electronics - Suresh staffs through new they put all their effort to make students clear in subject.All staffs are kind to the students through our college days.
