MY COLLEGE LIFE

I have got admission through merit. (i.e) through Anna University counseling process. The minimum cutoff for my course in the year 2018 was 170 and I had a cut-off of 175.5. I got my admission for the course which I selected. We also can add many courses to our wishlist according to our preference.

I chose this course because am interested in circuits, communication, etc. The staff handling my department are up to knowledge and well trained. The qualification of the faculty must have a master's degree in their respective fields. The teachings were up to mark and we also can stay for extra coaching classes if we wish and clear our doubts. Every month we have our internal exams and at the end of the third month, we have our end semester examination. It's quite easy to pass the semester if we perform well in the internal exam

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement opportunities. Kaar tech, Vuram, Zoho have visited with a package of 6.5lpa. Many more companies are yet to visit in the upcoming semester. The highest package is 8lpa and the average package is 4lpa. As of last year, 89% of students in the ECE department have got placed. My wish is to get placed in a good company with a decent salary package.

The cost for my course is 40,000 and we must pay for the transport, food, placement, which all together of 1, 30,000. The scholarship is provided for students whose annual income is less than 2,00,000. As am a third-year student, currently we are having placement training.

"RECHARGE" -This is our title for our cultural. It happens in the month of February or march. We will have a symposium for each department in the month of February. Many books are available in the library for our reference. Books based on our subject, previous years question paper , journals, novels and many more. Sports day is conducted in the month of march. All the students are free to participate. There are more than 10 clubs in my college such as Leo club, Nss, Yrc, Edc, etc. Leo club is run by the students.
