Govindram Seksaria - why you shouldn't miss a chance!

I had applied at Govindram seksaria institute under the OBC quota which gave me some benefits too like scholarships, which had made less stress on my family's financial condition. The admission criteria were generally based on the 12th percentage and the competitive exams. The counselling was done from the college's official website itself and was mostly online so it was easy for an individual to appear in counselling.

I chose this course because I thought it was interesting and my family was also suggesting me choose this path in my career so I chose it. The faculty to student ratio is roughly 9:100. The faculty is highly educated and know how to teach naive students and give them the personality that helps them to grasp the concepts better. The exams were organised regularly to test the knowledge of students and the teachings of faculty made the tests look as if it was a child's play.

JP company offered internship and we have learnt a lot there. Our work was to inspect the composition of cement. What are the roles of various machines and why it is necessary? We have learned a lot and that knowledge will always help us in the future.

By the end of the final semester, students are eligible for placements. There are a handful of opportunities for students to grab jobs at the end of the semester but it totally depends on the academic results of the individual. Companies like Hitachi, Agro, LG often come to take the newcomers and hire them. 60% of students get placements on average. I am planning of doing business after completing the degree.

The cost per annum of a student is nearly 85000 but the scholarships make it easy for students to pay the fees. The name of the scholarship was Medhavi Yojana and that made it easier for a student to study in the college.

There occurs a lot of functions like the annual function, HackyDart and most of them are conducted in November. Some sports functions like cricket and football tournaments are held in the June-July months. There are a lot of opportunities when it is seen from the perspective of a sports-loving person. There are various sports equipment and the place to play like table tennis, cricket, football, volleyball, etc. There is a lot of group in the college like SingFest, Band Camp, CricLord, etc.
