Vishal's Review On RVS School Of Management Studies (PG), Coimbatore

I had taken my MAT examination and secured 87.5 percentile. But due to my unfortunate average degree marks I couldn't get admission in any university other than bharathiar. I enquired from a lot of people and they recommended me to RVS IMSR. Even my cousin had done his MBA here and now he works at Oracle.

The college offers various courses , in particular, Business Analytics. Many colleges do not have that specialisation. In the first year , the syllabus is the same for everyone. The college additionally offers Language Skills as well as Aptitude skills along with Python Programming, MySQL and Microsoft Excel.

I'm not sure if the college provides internship. I've met students who have gone for internship in their desired companies. Sometimes the companies recruit or reserve that person for employment if they find their performance to be good.

Placement and job opportunities are many. various companies like ICICI , MAHINDRA, ORACLE , HDFC , IDBI, CITI BANK, KPMG etc. The highest placement CTC is 5.25 lakhs and and average of 4 lakhs. Placement opportunities are great in RVS IMSR. In that past two years more than 500 students have been placed who were from various departments of the college.

Fee structure is feasible. Sem fees comes around Rs 64000 per semester which is less compared to others colleges. So for an entire MBA course , the fee would be less than 3 lakhs. For Business Analytics students , the fees comes up to Rs 90,000 per sem.

Scholarship is offered by the college for the students who have scored excellent marks in TANCET examination. A concession of Rs 25000 is also available for students who were a part of NCC or under sports quota.

Hostel food is good. Accommodation is good. Toilets are good. A/c rooms are also provided. The mess fee comes to Rs 3000 per month. Frankly I feel it is a bit high compared to other colleges. And then we have a discussion room separately. Internet facility is provided there and it is exclusively for MBA students.

The exam structure is good. Sometimes due to time constraints, we're not able to complete the exams. The exam atmosphere is comfortable. Extra classes are provided for late joins.
