IIT JEE (Scored 105), BITSAT (Scored 126), Amrita Entrance Exam (Secured 5000 rank), VIT Entrance Exam (Secured 20000 rank). I had to choose these exams, because they are all standard exams that which most of the 12th standard students write to get themselves into a good college to support their carrier that will suit their best.

The curriculum is a standard curriculum that is followed by NITs and top autonomous colleges. It covers almost all the subjects that are essential for the particular field of engineering. The subjects that are taught here are all very useful for attending all the standard higher-education entrance examinations. There is a lot of scope for the research and development.

The college as such does not give the internships. But, they provide the students the path to find an internship that suits them the most. Sometimes, on companies request, the students informed about the company and the internship that the provide and are allowed to apply if they meet the company's selection criteria. The stipend ranges from 5 k to 45 k depending upon the student's caliber and the company.

There are 3 campuses of Amrita School of Engineering. Coimbatore : 98% placed, Amritapuri : 97% placed, Bengaluru : 94% placed. The companies mostly fall under the following categories in major I.T, Product Development, Manufacturing, Telecom, Marketing, Miscellaneous.

There are 1 main cultural fests and 1 big Technical fest that is held in Amrita every year. Cultural Fests , Gokul ashtami This is one of the biggest event that takes place in the college where the whole college is decorated and variety of competitions are held. The major competitions involve Procession, Float making and cultural stage event.

The fee structure is divided into 3 parts. University and Tuition Fee (Around 1.75 Lacs per year), Hostel Fee (Around 20K per year), Mess Fee (Around 45K per year). The fee is mostly affordable by a middle class family in India. It is kind of and expensive investment on education, that which is very much worth on doing so.

The Gender ratio in the campus is generally, 35% of girls and remaining are boys ( around 65%). The life at Amrita is very peaceful and has a very good atmosphere to learn. The students are exposed to different cultured people with different ethnicity. The students in Coimbatore campus are filled 40% with Tamil, 30% with Telugu, 15% with Malayalam speaking people and rest others.

The grading system is as follows. The internal Marks carry 50% weight. The External Marks (End semester exam) 50% weight. The total is put up to 100 and is relatively graded. The labs and evaluations are frequent. We will be free sometimes but during the time of evaluation, the day will be hectic and will seem like the 24 hours are not sufficient for the day.

Amrita University conducts an entrance examination named "AEEE" (Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering) for various UG degrees of Engineering.

One of the important thing that is required to learn anything is a teacher. The faculties at Amrita have excellent profiles and are very helpful in nature. They are experts in their own subjects and are patient enough to teach it at any point of time (subject to their schedule). They also will be ready to give projects, which will increase the students profile drastically, if done successfully.
