Remarks
Admission is mostly based on merit and interview based. The minimum percentage is 50% in hsc. The minimum age for admission is 18+. The college has a very systematic way of admission. I was lucky that I am selected for this INSTITUTE.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for Bachelor Optometry so it is quite difficult to say about the remaining course. My academic was started in October 2020 it was late because of the pandemic. The lectures were scheduled on time. The exam was also on time after the decided portion syllabus was completed. Every subject has one teacher not many seats so only 50-80 students per batch so the ratio of student: teacher is balanced. It makes admission quite difficult. Exams are also not very easy.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is the most important thing in our field after classroom studies we have to take a compulsory year internship. So if you have cleared all exams you are surely going to get the internship.
Placement Experience
Placement is available. In the last semester, students are placed at different companies hospitals. Placement is very easy to gain just you have to be clean chit (no kts). As I am new can't tell much about placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is 1st year 85,000/-, 2nd year 100000/-, 3rd year 100000/- total 28500/- in which you can get discount by referrals. There is no fees hike. Scholarships are provided for needy ones. Campus based placement.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is very well. And the college is located in a silent place. Classrooms are spacy and av projections are available in each room. The campus is huge and clean. We had a canteen. Extracurricular activities are also done very often.
