Paras Chourasia's Review On Gyan Ganga Institute Of Technology And Sciences - [GGITS], Jabalpur

I have gone through MP PET examination and scored 84/200 and was unable to get admission in government engg colleges. someone told me that Gyan Ganga is trending now a days. Giving good campus opportunities with global leaders such as TCS, IBM etc. I opted civil engineering which was recently started there.

Because my branch was new it was difficult to get all the course material and laboratory instruments on time. Good faculty was also not available at that time and all students was suffering from lack of practical knowledge. Most of the time we feel like we are in a school where we get literature knowledge.

I don't have any idea regarding internships programme but some scholarship was provided to poor students and siblings scholarship.

In starting campus selection record was good but after 2010 companies started firing there workers and visits of companies decreased in college. Because my branch was was new, till final year only reliance power visited our institute and after 5 month of waiting we found that no candidate was selected. After passing out from institution JMC visited there and selected 3 students thats all from my knowledge.

In starting I have paid 57 k for my first year fee after that due to A+ NBA accreditation I have to pay 64 k for last 2 years in installments of semester basis. No hostel facilities was made available by the college administrations for boys.

I have paid all my dues and fees by my own so I don't have any idea about loan facility. MP government offers me scholarship under OBC student scholarship scheme and the amount was 24-26 k per annum.

Campus life was very good full of enjoyment because of teachers don't have idea what they have to teach us so we often have fun during classes. In Civil, mechanical classes gender ratio was very low 6-10 girls in 50-60 boys. But in Computer science, electrical and electronics engineering, IT engineering branch have 50-50 or sometimes 70-30 gender ratio.

Exams was held by Rajiv Gandhi Technical University and conducted by college administrations. College administrations took good care of students in very strict manner.

After the exam results an offline counselling programme was conducted in Government engineering college Jabalpur. After selecting college and branch after that an allotment letter was provided to me and i have to submit it within 7 days. I filled college admission form and fee for first semester.
