THE EXPERIENCE THAT YOU CANNOT GET ANYWHERE ELSE

I didnot apply for many colleges for my college admission. this was the only college I applied through anna university counseling. through the quota for scheduled caste, I got a seat in the college. the student must have completed at least the age of 17 and have scored at least 60% in the higher secondary exam.

I chose computer science because i thought the future is solely dependent of technology, which is purely dependent on computers. the faculty to student ratio is about 1:60 and may vary from department to department. every teaching faculty are a minimum a postgraduate and other nonteaching staffs are a minimum under graduate.

Students with an excellent record in their studies are eligible from the sixth semester for placements. others are placed from the seventh semester and the full flow of placements takes place towards the end of the eighth semester. a massive number of students get placed every year by placements arranged by the college and a minimum of 95% of students are placed in placement fests by the college.

Usually, the college does not hike the fee for the students and remains the same throughout the course of time. the cost for a year ranges from 1,00,000 to 1,50,000 if you are a day scholar and plus 60,000 for hostellers. scholarships are given to students by the college for the needy who cannot afford to study but still have the desire to pursue their carrier.

Annual fests like sports days are conducted every august month of each year and symposiums related to studies are conducted for each department every even semester and talents from other institutions are welcomed and deserving ones are chosen as winners. the library in the college is very big and facilitated with centralized air conditioners. the library holds around 10,000 subject-related and other books along with over 1,00,000 online journals which are always open for the students to refer.

Most of the classrooms are allotted with seperate projectors and have a huge writing board. the meals provided in our college are renown all over Tamil Nadu. they provide nonveg 3 days a week for day scholars and 6 days for hostellers. if a wants hostel he can approach the office and ask for details, so they will guide them to hostel admission. there are not many rental rooms in poonamalle, but students stay in porur, a nearby locality, and also college bus has seperate routes to those areas also.
