THE COLLEGE LIFE AT "PANIMALAR" IS A GOOD EXPERIENCE

I didn't apply to many colleges for admission, this college was the first choice to persue my undergraduate. I had availed for a government seat under the scheduled caste quota. No hardships for admission, just visit the college and they will guide you for admission.

I mainly chose the mechanical department as I had an attachment towards machines and automobiles. There are a fair amount of staffs in the college/ department. Usually, there is a staff: student ratio of 1:30. The staffs are mostly posted graduates and some even hold a doctorate. Exams occur on monthly basis and these exams are within department ones.

The students with an excellent curriculum become eligible for placements in the 6th semester and others start their placement processes from the seventh semester. The students usually get a package of a minimum of 2,00,000 per annum and highest ranging upto 7,00,000 per annum. Almost 955 of the students are placed every year.

The cost of study for four years is around 6 lakhs which is a sum of 1,50,000 per year, this fee per year also includes transport and food covered twice a day respectively. The cost of the study was the same during the course of study during my tenure. The students can avail scholarships from college where the college selects a few students and pay their fee.

The annual fests like the annual sports meet will be conducted in August month and symposiums will be conducted during the even semesters at mid-semester. The library is one of the biggest in the locality provided by any college. It contains about 10,000 books and printed materials, along with about 1,00,000 online journals.
