College experience.

I don't see any negative things happened at the college everything is good.

I took EAMCET exam and My rank was 11819. So I have chosen this college in the counselling. I have gone through eh previous results of college and I have chosen this.

My college affiliated to JNTU kakinada. Syllabus is very helpful for a software engineer. Course is very helpful to me as well. We have all the subjects that will help us to do a software job. I feel they are the basics to understand in the software field.

My college was supporting internships with the software company. There were 10 students who qualify for it and they went to that company and they got 6000 as stipend.

There were some MNC companies visited to my office like Tech mahindra, Virtusa, Persistent. Some pool drives also happened Infosys, Zenpact and many others. MNCs offered 2.4-3.0 L per annum. Small companies offered in between 1.6 to 2.2 L per annum.

We had one event when I was in 1st year by our computer sceince and engineering department. After that there are couple of events happened by other departments as well. There were many participation from the other colleges as well in visakhapatnam.

For me it is a fee waiver seat. Generally it was 27,500 per annum. After that fees got increased upto 35000, but for my batch 2007-2011, it was 27500 fee. If you have the reservations, you will get the scholarships as well apart from the fee cutoff.

At that time, I got a fee waiver seat which does not have the annual fee. This is because, I got a good rank and government introduced such fee waiver seats. For BC,SC and ST casts, there were free seats and they used to get the scholarships as well. As I am OC candidate, I did not get any scholarship.

In my class, the gender ratio is like 60:40, It was huge because we are belongs to Computer science department for other departments it was like 70:30 and even lesser. on an average, women are like 30% through out the college used to encourage to participate in the sports like cricket and volleyball.

There was no hostel during my education. after that there was one hostel built up in the campus. I used to stay in PG which is 10 kilometers from away from the college and I used to travel in public transportation. My PG was about 2200 per month. It was fine at that time.

Anti ragging squad was there in my college my seniors helped a lot in the getting things done in projects and all.

We used to have 3 internal exams and one external exam for a semester. Internal includes both online and offline tests. For online tests, our labs were fully cooperative. Every lab was working as expected so we did not find much difficulty when writing the exams.

I went to the counselling and I have chosen this. The process of counselling is to go to the counseller and stnad by the line with the rank. once our rank turnsup we have to chose the college. At the time of joining they have taken all my certificates and other documents, This is the overall process that I have followed. Now it is changed.

Usually colleges faculties are who completed Masters degree and My faculty also did the same. There are some people who completed their bachelors degree and teached the lessions for us overall my faculty is good enough to teach the subjects. It was helped me a lot to have such faculty.
