Remarks

I have applied to more than 10 colleges according to the IP category. I was allotted a college in the second sheet of IP university in lingayas. But due to the far distance, I applied for this college. In my point of view, this college's infrastructure is too big and good but the number of students is the opposite of its size on other hand. It will be 50 if we calculate the total number of students and staff together. There was a counseling day in the beginning in which the college's secretary and HM gave a speech about this college and its well-being. They asked about our hobbies and the reason to pick the particular course one by one.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The quality of teaching by the faculty of this college is fine. Exams are well-conducted and it's not so difficult to get passed. There's no fault in the examination point of view. I did chose BCom(Hons.) because I had a huge interest in accounts. Accounts seem pretty easy and interesting while in school. My aim is to work in any post in a bank so that is why I have taken this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees taken by the IP colleges are normally huge. In SVCL, the academic year fees are 45000 and 15000 extra for transportation fees which for me is very huge as compared to the faculty given to us. I am a BCom second-year student in SVCL and from the beginning, till now no measures were taken for scholarships for students. And no financial assistance or campus jobs have been allotted by the college under any circumstances.

Campus Life

1.5

There is no such social group as I remember in this college and no clubs as well. As it seems less number of students in the college, maybe that's the reason that there are no such social groups and clubs.

Placement Experience:

The average package was 5LPA which was very good for the start as a fresher. Last year's students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies were joined campus placement fair at that time including Wipro, Sony, vodaphone, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course includes a balanced mix of numerical and theoretical subjects, making it easier to study compared to other management courses that often come with intense academic pressure. The curriculum moderately prepares students for real-world problems, though there is scope for improvement in terms of providing practical exposure. Adding internships, workshops, or industry visits to the B.Com curriculum could greatly enhance its relevance. The exams are generally of easy to moderate difficulty, ensuring a manageable workload for students.
